In
a persuasive message you either try to make the viewer accept your point of
view or to encourage the reader to carry out a task after reading your message.
Therefore,
you need to structure your message in the following way
· Use a simple language
· Give supporting sentences for your main idea, by using
examples, statistics or facts.
· Mention a reliable source, where you got the
information’s from
· Be objective, but convincing at the same time
· Encourage your good intentions with your message and
avoid forced percussiveness
Another
good method is to use the AIDA model. Aida stands for Attention, Interest,
Desire and Action. By using this model you can make sure that wrote all factors
that are important in a persuasive essay.
1. Attention: make your reader want to read your essay
further. For instance use an attention getter that will benefit your reader as
well.
2. Interest: in this section you have to keep the
interest of the reader. Continue by explaining the benefits in detail of your
attention getter. Explain why your approach is the best in order to convince
the reader.
3. Desire: build up a desire for the reader to read your
solution of your message. Be convincing and make your point clear. Make sure
you are not repetitive.
4. Action: encourage the reader to carry out an action
after reading your message
