Successful Podcasting

There three main steps for a successful podcasting:

1.     Analyzing the Situation:  You should know what to mention in your message at the first try since you can’t scan back and forth on an audio message.  Make it easier for the receiver by mentioning everything in the right order.

2.     Gather the information: you need to decide whether to script your podcast completely then read it word for word or improvise from a speaking outline and notes.

3.     Organizing the information: In the completing step, keep in mind that making edits is much more difficult in an audio or video medium such as podcasting. Therefore, take extra care to revise your script or think through your speaking notes before you begin to record. You don’t want to get halfway through the recording process and realize that you should have said something else in the introduction
